Style Crush - Gwen Stefani

Hi girlies :)

Well here it is, my last style crush for the month of Jan!

This one may seem a little random to you...but...

This weeks style crush is...

GWEN STEFANI

I just think this lady is amazing!

I love her individuality. Fair enough, she has worn some things in the past that I would not but you gotta admit shes just so darn....cool! Isn't she?!

She's not afraid to take risks and some of her outfits are almost fairytale-like! She reminds me a bit of Marilyn Monroe (who I also adore) - the blonde hair, the red lippy...

She's kinda like a girly rock chick methinks! She's one of the lads but still looks impecable.

If I tried to find some gwen-esque items in my wardrobe I can't honestly say there'd be a lot of clothes akin to hers, but some of my accessories might have a touch of Gwen about them! Oooh also shoes actually. I may not be as brave as her when it comes to clothing but I have been known to rock a pair of statement heels when the mood strikes :) lol

Anyway, as I was saying, I like Gwens sense of fashion because she never tries to be anyone but herself (with the exception maybe f alice in wonderland lol!) and her style makes her come across as someone who is really true to herself.

Style Crush - Kim Kardashian

Hello ladies :)

This week's style crush has expanded her career because of her great sense of style. She is involved in a shoe business, has launched her own perfume and owns clothing stores with her two equally stylish sisters.

Who am I talking about?

This week's style crush is...

KIM KARDASHIAN

I like Kim's fashion sense because to me she practically never gets it wrong. She always looks tailored and welll put together, and proves that curves are the most amazing accessory a girl can have!

When I think of her style I think blazers, skinny jeans, dark colours, oversized bags and killer heels.

Her makeup is always immaculate and she has sported some seriously envious smokey eyes and pink/nude lips.

I look to her for inspiration because I feel that her outfits are always the kind of clothes that I love to wear. She dresses to suit her shape, and is always on trend without sacrificing her own style.

Style Crush - Cheryl Cole

Hello all :)
Another week, another style crush...

And this week it is...

CHERYL COLE

For those of you who do not come from this corner of the world, Cheryl Cole is one of the UK and Ireland's biggest stars.

She started out in a girl band called Girls Aloud who were put together by reality tv show and have been v v v successful. Now she is also a judge on the Xfactor and is taking a break from Girls Aloud to launch her solo career.

This choice for a style crush might be criticised because Cheryl has a lot of styling, but i just can't help it I love her clothes!

Many of us Xfactor fans love seeing what amazing outfit she wil wear every week on the show, she always looks gorgeous! Always glamorous, she has even made the cover of Vogue.

She recently became a l'oreal girl and promotes their products.

I adore her makeup, especially in the eye area. She wears false eyelashes quite a bit but has said that she does have aturally long eyelashes, the lucky thing.

She is definitely a celeb whose style I would look to for inspiration for a night out with the girls or if I was looking for a cute idea for a dress. She also has quite a few pairs of amazing heels!

Well that's about it you guys?

Style Crush - Taylor Momsen

Wow I am on a roll with the posts today!!

I'm still pretty new to this blogging business, so I thought it might be cool to give you guys an insight into my sense of style and fashion etc

I'm not saying I have amazing style or anything, but I do believe that you can tell a lot about a person by the kind of clothes they like and what they choose to wear.

Now I can't exactly take pictures of my entire wardrobe (trust me that would take forever!)

But I figured a good way to do this would be to show you guys some celebs that I take inspiration from at the moment when putting outfits together.

I plan on doing one of these each week for the month of Janruary.

That is unless everyone hates this and then it'll probably stop pretty sharpish!

So first up is....

TAYLOR MOMSEN

I am a big gossip girl fan, and I just love Taylor Momsen's style both on and off screen.

She combines rock chick and glunge styles so effortlessly without looking too harsh.

Some people criticise her for dressing too old for her age, but I admire her for being an individual and finding her own sense of style!

Anyway she is a style icon for me at the mo, even if I might not go quite so rock-chicky with my outfits!
